Brendan Praniewicz

Brendan Praniewicz is a 21^st Century renaissance man.  As an artist, he explores creative expression through a myriad of outlets.  A photographer, his work has been exhibited in galleries and magazines.  He performs stand-up comedy all over the Southwest, and his act includes musical comedy.  Brendan is also an award-winning writer.  He’s published poetry, creative nonfiction, and short stories.  In addition, he’s currently working on a fictional novel called Beat it.

He graduated with a Master’s of Fine Arts Degree in Creative Writing from San Diego State. Brendan teaches critical thinking, argument, and creative writing at Grossmont and Mesa College as well as distant learning classes in China.  He’s received a teacher of the year award as well as other accolades for his pedagogy.

Brendan resides in San Diego, California.  He is a free spirit who lives for adventure and travel.
