Brendan Praniewicz loves writing, and he practices daily. He’s had poems featured in From Whispers to Roars, That Literary Review, The Dallas Review, Poet’s Choice, The Silent World in her Vase, Tempered Runes Press, Milltown Press, Philadelphia Stories, Quillkeepers Press, Free Spirit, Drunk Monkeys, Humans of the World, Wingless Dreamer, Light, Burningwood Journal, Pa’lante, Commuter Lit, Sheepshead Review, Moonstone Arts, and Rockvale Writer’s Group.

His creative nonfiction has been published by Races y Mas, The Watershed Review, Driftwood Press, Gold Man Review, Red Noise, New Plains Review, Untenured, Boudin, True Stories, and Ponder Review. Brendan’s fiction has appeared in Guts Magazine and Limit Express. 

He’s also received second place in a first-chapters competition for Seven Hills Review. In addition, he won first place in the Rilla Askew short story contest.  Brendan was nominated for a Pushcart Prize for poetry in 2023.  He has been a finalist 15 times for fiction, nonfiction, and poetry.

He co-hosts a monthly Poetry and Fiction Reading, called Every Prose has its Thorn, with Adam Greenfield.

A spoken word artist and story teller, he’s available for readings.
